A dear friend gave me a ring dish when I got engaged. I use it all the time. I now have ring dishes scattered throughout the house.
Recently, a childhood friend became engaged to a great woman, Patricia. I just knew the perfect gift is to make a ring dish like someone did for me. I started by throwing extra small bowls on the pottery wheel. After they were bisque fired, I glazed with a bright red on the interior and a crisp white on the exterior. Pieces were fired again. I was ecstatic with the results. I just hope she loves them as much as I loved making them.
